D & B Darke was established in 1963 and has built up a wealth of experience
as a competitive supplier of miscellaneous metalwork for the water
associated industries.
In the early 1990's D & B Darke was introduced to the field of architectural
metalwork and soon discovered a flair for the these unique fabrications.
Experiences
now been gained in the complete finishes
spectrum including galvanised, painted, powder and nylon coated mild steel,
bronze anodised aluminium and polished and shot-peened stainless steel.
With a continual increase in workload
D & B Darke decided to move to its new premises in January 2000. The new workshops have increased
the fabrication capacity two-fold and have allowed D & B Darke to offer a
service in the development and fabrication of structural
steelwork.
An example of the service that can be offered is evident in the external feature steelwork
installed for the Excel building at Royal Victoria Square, and the 100
tonnes construction at the Royal Victoria Dock above.
